I Pledge Allegiance
by ~Aaron on Jan.12, 2009, under Not Politcally Correct
I Pledge Allegiance as a promise to be faithful and true. It’s a promise of my loyalty To The Flag, which is the emblem of the United States of America. Fifty individual states, each individually represented on one flag. And to The Republic I also pledge my loyalty, for the government that is itself a republic is a form of government where the PEOPLE are sovereign. For Which It Stands. The government is also represented by the flag that I pledge my loyalty too. Our fifty states are united as One Nation Under God. A single Republic under the Divine providence of God, “Our most powerful resource” – Dwight D. Eisenhower. Our nation is Indivisible, we can not be separated, With Liberty and Justice to “pursue life, liberty, and happiness”, and to be treated fairly and justly in doing so. These things are For All Americans regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual preference, education, intelligence, attitude, or personality. Even those who fight to undermine these principles are afforded the right to do so BY these principles. I, and others like me, still believe in these principles and hold on to our hope that they will again become the norm. God Bless Us All.
